Itinerary
Day 01
Arrive in Lima assistance and transfer to selected hotel in the nice Miraflores district.
Day 02 Flight to Arequipa city
In the morning a domestic flight to Arequipa (1 hour flight). Upon arrival, reception, assistance and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we start a three-hour City tour including the Santa Catalina Convent, the Plaza de Armas, the Jesuit Church of La Compañía and its beautifully-painted Chapel, the Church of San Francisco, the San Lazaro District, Selva Alegre and the typical Districts of Cayma and Yanahuara for a magnificent view of the Misti Volcano. Return to selected hotel.”

Day 03: COLCA CANYON TOUR
Early in the morning, after breakfast, start your trip to the Colca Canyon, visiting on the way Pampas Cañahuas, the Mirador of the Andes, the Crater of Chucura, the Mirador of Chivay, where pre-Inca Cultivation terraces may be appreciated. Arrival to the Town of Chivay at 13:00hrs. approx. Transfer to your selected Lodge. Box lunch (light meals in the altitude).
In the afternoon free time to visit Hot Spring Thermal and Medicinal Baths. Hotel

Day 04: COLCA CANYON – PUNO
After breakfast, very early in the morning, drive to the Condor’s Cross, a natural observation point from where the magnitude of the Colca Canyon and the spectacular flight of the majestic Condor can be appreciated. Also along the way you will appreciate a lot of pre-inca farming terraces, later on the way back to Chivay, visit to the Mirador of Chinina, where we will find the famous cliffside Tombs and the Hanging Bridge of Sifón that joins the Town of Yanque with Coporaque, visit its beautiful church and its characteristic cobbled streets among other attractions. Fantastic lookout points along the way.
Later to connect the way to the city of Puno , we will make several stops in route such as Patapampa , the highest point of the route ( 4900msnm ), from where you can appreciate various mountain peaks such as the Sabancaya , Ampato , the Misti , Chachani , etc.
Continuing with the tour we see a number of small lakes where we will have the opportunity to observe migratory birds, including the beautiful flamingos.
Arrive in Puno at approximately 18:30 hrs. approximately and transfer to your hotels.

DAY 5: LAKE TITICACA, Uros & Taquile Islands
After breakfast, you will take a two-hour motor boat excursion on the waters of Lake Titicaca to the unique Floating “Islands” of the Uros. These ancient inhabitants of the lake, known as the “Water Tribe”, have built their own “islands” by periodically adding new layers of a type of reed unique to the area called “totora”. Their homes and boats are also made from this material. After having experienced some of the ancient traditions of the local people, you continue your motor boat trip to Taquile Island. You will arrive by the back side of the island and start a hike to appreciate the wonderful natural sightseeing, the ascending through a regular pendant slope you will arrive at the town, and there you will visit the Handicraft Center to buy a great variety of fine colouredhand made weaves. At proper time transfer to Puno.Upon arrival transfer to selected hotel.

DAY 6: TOUR-BUS TO CUSCO
Leaving by 8 am, this journey has spectacular scenery through the Andes, high plateaus, and the visit of 3 pre-Inca archaeological ruins, plus a stop I a restaurant for lunch. In this comfortable tour bus there is a professional guide who will be explaining along the drive. Sites to stop and visit: Pucara pre-Inca temples and museum, the highest pass “La Raya with its glaciers around” 4,350 mts, later a visit to Rachi Inca temples. Arrival in Cusco by 5pm.
Reception at bus station and transfer to Hotel in Cusco.

DAY 7
Free day to explore Cusco by yourself, (optional city tour in afternoon from 1.30 pm to 6pm.) meals: Breakfast

DAY 8: Sacred Valley tour- Machu Picchu town
To visit Pisac ruins, later Pisac handicraft market, later a drive through the Urubamba valley, stop for lunch, after that you will visit the majestic Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo inca city.
Later you will take the train to Machu Picchu pueblo for a hotel there.
Reception and assistance to be transferred to your hotel, there the tour guide will give you a briefing for the next day of Machu Picchu.

DAY 9: MACHU PICCHU TOUR
Early in the morning your tour guide will meet you and together board the shuttle bus up to the Inca citadel, there you will have a complete tour of Machu Picchu later you can be by yourserlf to do detours, such a hike to the Sungate, or a short hike to the Inca bridge etc.
Later in the afternoon a train back to Cusco, arriving there in the evening.

DAY 10: FREE DAY IN CUSCO
A free day to relax or explore by yourself still many interesting sites such the main food market “San Pedro”, the Chocolate museum, some archeology museums are included in our tickets we give you, later a stroll around Cusco main Plaza, etc.

Day 11: Transfer to Cusco airport
Transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Lima,

AREQUIPA (2,400 mts)
Better known as the White City, where colonial buildings constructed with white volcanic stone have been beautifully preserved. A stay of two days is recommended to visit the Colonial mansions and churches as well as Santa Catalina Convent, Cayma, Yanahuara, and the Colca Canyon, the deepest canyon in the world, where majestic Andean condors can be frequently seen carving lazy circles in the air.
- Arequipa has dry periods in March, April, May, June, July and August.

- September is the wettest month. This month should be avoided if you don’t like too much rain.

PUNO (3,800 mts)
On the banks of Lake Titicaca, Uros Indians live on artificial floating reed islands as they have for hundreds of years. With lofty snow-capped peaks rising above distant shores, the vast blue lake at the dizzying altitude of 12,600 feet presents one of the most breathtaking panoramas of the Andes. Visits can be made to the Sillustani burial grounds, Taquile Island on Lake Titicaca, and the stone carved churches of Juli and Pomata.
The maximum temperature here is around 60 degrees in the summer months of December and January. Precipitation is minimal for most of the year, but it has been known to rain or snow on occasion. Temperatures can drop down as low as 30 degrees in the winter months from June to August.
Cusco and Machu Picchu
In Cusco and Machu Picchu, we have two seasons: dry season from May to October, and wet season is from November to April.
Temperatures can range in the dry season from 20 to 25 Celsius and the nights drop down from 5 to 12 Celsius; during the wet season weather can be just mild.
- The months September, October, November and December have nice weather with a good average temperature.
- Most rainfall (rainy season) is seen in January, February, March and December.
- Machupicchu has dry periods in May, June, July, August and September.
- On average, the warmest month is from June to September.
