DAY 3: Visiting Chinchero town
In the morning a visit to Chinchero Inca village and its well nown weavers with a workshop there. Later a visit to Moray Inca agriculture laboratories, and finally to the Salt mines. Hotel in Sacred Valley Hotel “Sol y Luna” or “Hotel Tambo del Inca”. (B,L).
DAY 4: Visiting the fortress of Sacsayhuaman
In the morning a visit to the important fortress of Ollantaytambo, after that a unique travel up through the mountains to remote Inca´s descendent communities of “Patacancha and Willoq”, to learn their ways of living, visiting their schools and your chance to donate charities to that community.
Afternoon, a visit to Ollantaytambo town, later to a workshop of Inca´s beer “Chicha” , and finally back to your hotel in Urubamba town, Hotel “Sol y Luna” or “Tambo del Inca”. (B,L)
DAY 5: Train to Machu Picchu
Train to Machu Picchu, a complete tour of the so famous Inca citadel, lunch at luxury hotel Sanctuary Lodge in the same Machu Picchu Inca city. Train Vistadome service

DAY 6: Exploring Machu Picchu – back to Cusco
Back to Machu Picchu for detours or extensions, a hike to the Sungate or to the Inca bridge.

Weather in the Andes can be unpredictable ranging from hot and sunny to rain, wind and cold. Hikers should be prepared with proper gear and be ready for variable weather conditions throughout the day.
Small changes in the itinerary are a possibility as well as trip cancellations due to bad weather. We reserve the right to cancel a trip if we feel conditions are unsafe. If this happens you will be refunded your deposit in full (see full Terms & Conditions), however, trips still go out when there is rain, snow or fog.
