Cusco can be divided into three main types of attractions: Cusco City, with its ruins, temples, churches, mansions and archaeological sites;
The Sacred Valley of the Incas with a pleasant climate, fertile lands and spectacular views surrounding picturesque communities. Important sites to see are: Pisac ruins , the largest Fortress City Complex of the Incas; Ollantaytambo fortress, site of a great battle between Manco Inca and Spanish soldiers in 1536; Chicnchero an Inca village where the best renowned woman weavers are, as well as visit of the Inca ruins and ancient colonial church very rich in relics.
Machu Picchu, “The Lost City of the Incas” considered one of the world’s archaeological jewels; and it still mystery of the 100 years of construction on the most rugged terrain done by hand by the at least 80,000 Incan workers.

Day 01: CUSCO
Meet upon arrival and transfer to your selected hotel. Remaining morning free to rest in your hotel in order to avoid altitude sickness.
In the afternoon, 1,30pm we will visit the City of Cusco on a guided sightseeing tour visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Temple of the Sun or Korikancha. Then, we drive out of the City to visit the Inca sites of Kenko, Tambomachay, Puca Pucara and the impressive Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, strategically built on a hill overlooking Cusco, famous for its enormous carved stones, some of them standing over 9 m / 30 ft high and weighing over 350 tons.

Day 02: SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS, train to Machu Picchu town.
8.30 am we begging our tour of the Sacred Valley, by the Urubamba River. We will have the opportunity to visit Pisac ruins, later the typical Indian Artisan market of Pisac, Lunch in a local countryside restaurant.
After lunch, passing through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, we visit the Inca Fortress of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle. There you will see how the Incas dragged such enormous and giant boulders to build their temples, they built a large ramp to get those boulders way up in the mountain, and also they used red granite rocks which quarry are 15 kms away!, Later on you can walk through the quaint streets of the nearby Town, and get a good idea of what this Strategic Military, Religious, and Agricultural Centre was like during the era of the Inca Empire.
Later you will take the train to Machu Picchu pueblo where you arrive there in the evening for a hotel. Thee also you will meet your tour guide that he/she will give you a briefing for the next day for the tour of Machu Picchu.

Day 03: MACHU PICCHU
Early in the morning you meet your tour guide and together take the shuttle bus to the Inca city, a complete guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial (the most important preserved Intihuatana), the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. After the tour you’ll have time to stroll around the Archaeological Site at your leisure. Later in the afternoon you will take your train back to Cusco. Overnight in your selected hotel in Cusco.

Day 04: CUSCO
After breakfast, transfer and assistance on your departure.
